Haiti solutions

I know its a bit radical but we are the richest country in the world and a self professed christian nation. That being said and hear me out, why not allow all those with Haitian relatives in the U.S. to now relocate here. At the end of the day we are giving tons of money to the country at the moment anyway why not instead allow them to come here and find jobs and be able to have a better life. Being working poor here is living luxuriously compared to the lifestyle that they have there especially now. Our economy is down at the moment yes, but i think the perspective should be that with an influx of desperate, determined, gratefull people would also be an influx of innovation in terms of business ideas and human capital.
