Everybody except moi has been sleeping on the Celtics. I always knew they’d be a force if they could just get healthy and now there waking everybody up. They are one of the most complete teams in recent history and I thing they’ll win this year and next if nobody gets hurt, and if nobody else puts together some monster team comparable in the offseason; which is possible with all the free agent craziness thats gonna go on after the season. They have officially won the spot of my favorite team of all time.

Movie-bre on “Edge of Darkness”

what a load of “……..”. It was just such a depressing movie. I couldn’t seem to find any empathy with the main character, maybe I’ve just seen to many Mel Gibson, Im mad and gonna get revenge for my family movies over the years. Maybe if this was that just like always I would have liked it, but seemed it was trying to be that but then at the same time get all philosophical and artsy. I dont know maybe you can do both but at least do one of the two well.
I would like all 120 of my minutes back please.

just looking for a cool place to study

Whats the deal with everyone planning weddings in barnes and nobles cafes. For the second time, I have gone to the cafe to study and in comes a bride, groom family and wedding planner to duke it out over wedding details for everyone to hear. Im trying to think about permutations, combinations, quadratic equations and I’m hearing the bride to be plead with her mother not to talk about how ignorant her future husband is, then he storms away cause he refuses to accept the cost figure proposed by the wedding planner……..see i know way too many details.

Thank goodness there was a caribou coffee nearby, the atmosphere was alot better.

I havent planned a wedding yet but if I ever do Ill be sure to never set foot in a barnes and nobles to discuss it.

Haiti solutions

I know its a bit radical but we are the richest country in the world and a self professed christian nation. That being said and hear me out, why not allow all those with Haitian relatives in the U.S. to now relocate here. At the end of the day we are giving tons of money to the country at the moment anyway why not instead allow them to come here and find jobs and be able to have a better life. Being working poor here is living luxuriously compared to the lifestyle that they have there especially now. Our economy is down at the moment yes, but i think the perspective should be that with an influx of desperate, determined, gratefull people would also be an influx of innovation in terms of business ideas and human capital.
